Both G and P share a love for music. In fact, the first time G met her future husband was when she saw his band play! Music was an interwoven theme throughout their entire ceremony and reception. The take home party favors were candles decorated with music notes and piano keys. The table assignments each held the name of a famous jazz singer or musician, and music was a part of every aspect of their wedding day-from the mariachis signifying the completion of their ceremony, to the funk band that played until the reception came to a close.
Another theme the couple chose to integrate into their day was family. Family members from both sides of the aisle made up the majority of the wedding party, performed readings and sang during the ceremony. Her mother and cousins even sang a song written for her grandmother by her grandfather during the reception! There were countless special moments like this during the day. One could easily tell that these were two close-knit families coming together for the newly wedded couple.

Sticking with a couple of themes is a wonderful way to create a flow for any event. It can serve as a guide when making decisions about almost any aspect of a wedding, from invites to the type of food to serve guests. Here are a couple pictures of the decor, the cake, and G's beautiful bouquet!
Thanks for everything :)
